Office of the Headmaster

Dear Prospective Students,

I would like to welcome and invite you to take a tour of our campus. The Administration Building is open to all who visit and explains what our school is all about and how to become a member.

Let me give you a little background of our evolution here at the Institute. The inspiration came to me last tax season. Three months out of the year I work as a Sr. Tax Advisor specializing in small business. I found myself continually explaining to new clients how they set up their business improperly and how correct it, how they neglected their bookkeeping tasks and how to correct it, and how to shelter their profits from the tax man.

I found that I constantly heard the expression, "I wish someone had taught me this before I started," and "Where can you go to learn all of this in one place?" Since I am a teacher at heart, and a fairly good writer; I decided to take my years of business and tax experience and build a web site to address those concerns.

At first, I envisioned a more formalized format, including exams and "diplomas". But I realized that when it comes to business, the market is always changing, so we needed a more flexible system that can constantly be updated. So I created a level one series of courses to give everyone a base education, a level two series of courses that will grow as the market changes, and a level three series that is interactive with our students.

I also believe that most small business people don't care about formalities. So, let's leave the "degrees" to those who want to work in the corporate world. This site is for the small entrepreneur who just wants the facts so he/she can get to work building their future.

Sincerely,

Roger Pearson
Headmaster
