15 Nov 2009 - Our sixth Level Two Course, entitled Limited Liability Companies is now online for Students of the Institute. LLCs are the newest in a line of legal business formats. They were primarily created to give sole proprietorships and partnerships a form of limited liability against the personal assets of the owners. While this is not officially a recognized federal business format, all fifty state now recognize some form of LLC and the IRS uses the underlying business format in its decisions.

Small businesses have less money to get their message out, while media layoffs mean reporters have to fill more space with less resources. It would seem as if this would be the perfect opportunity for small businesses to help reporters out, while getting a mention of their product or service.
